Welcome to PrepFi. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PrepFi platform, including all associated services, features, content, and applications (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using PrepFi, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About PrepFi

PrepFi is a gamified, AI-enabled assessment platform designed for K-12 schools. It enables teachers to create assessments, students to practice and participate in quizzes, and schools to monitor academic performance through analytics and reporting tools.

2. Eligibility & User Accounts

  • The Platform is intended for use by schools, teachers, students, and authorized personnel.
  • Users under the age of 18 may only use the Platform under the supervision of a school or legal guardian.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree to use PrepFi only for educational and lawful purposes. You shall not:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the Platform or its AI systems.
  • Upload content that is infringing, harmful, or inappropriate.
  • Disrupt or interfere with the Platform’s functionality.

PrepFi reserves the right to suspend or terminate access in case of misuse.

4. AI-Generated Content

  • PrepFi uses AI to generate quizzes, questions, and assessments based on user inputs.
  • While efforts are made to ensure accuracy, AI-generated content may not always be error-free.
  • Users (teachers/schools) are encouraged to review content before assigning it.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

  • All Platform content, technology, and design are the intellectual property of PrepFi.
  • Schools and users retain ownership of the content they upload, including study material and data.
  • By uploading content, you grant PrepFi a limited license to process and use such content for providing services.

6. Data & Privacy

  • PrepFi collects and processes data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  • Schools are responsible for ensuring consent from students/parents where required.
  • PrepFi implements reasonable security measures to protect user data.

7. Subscription & Payments

  • PrepFi operates on a subscription-based SaaS model.
  • Pricing may include a base platform fee and per-student charges.
  • All fees are payable as per agreed terms and are non-refundable unless specified.
  • PrepFi reserves the right to revise pricing with prior notice.

8. Fair Usage & Platform Limits

  • Certain features, including AI-based test generation and content uploads, may be subject to reasonable usage limits.
  • PrepFi may implement usage thresholds to ensure fair and optimal platform performance.
  • Additional usage may require upgraded plans or add-ons.

9. Availability & Service Continuity

  • PrepFi aims to provide high availability, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues may result in temporary downtime.
  • PrepFi shall not be liable for loss due to service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • PrepFi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • PrepFi is not responsible for academic outcomes or decisions made based on platform insights.
  • Total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the customer in the preceding 12 months.

11. Termination

Schools or users may discontinue use at any time. PrepFi may suspend or terminate access in case of:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Non-payment
  • Misuse of the Platform

12. Changes to Terms

PrepFi may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Delhi.
